Your Role

Do you want to help develop and structure the future UAS operations? We are now looking for a Flight Manager within UAS who wants to take overall responsibility for our operational flight processes and contribute to shaping our way of working from the ground up.

As Flight Manager, you will hold a key position in the organization, responsible for ensuring that our UAS operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations. You will work both strategically and operationally to develop, implement, and monitor our procedures and governing documents related to UAS flight.

Your main responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the organization's procedures, as well as planning, coordinating, and participating in the execution of flight operations.
• Ensure that operations comply with current regulations (EASA, Transportstyrelsen) and drive the work of creating, updating, and managing manuals (e.g., OM and SOPs).
• Actively participate in risk analyses and the overall safety work related to UAS operations.
• Act as an operational support for pilots and other personnel regarding flight safety and daily routines.
• Monitor incidents to contribute to continuous improvement and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

The position involves travel both nationally and internationally, approximately once a month. The position is primarily based in Växjö and Åryd, but other locations can be discussed.

Your Profile

You are motivated by a varied daily routine where you can combine operational field work, administrative tasks, and strategic development of the business. You are curious, dare to dig into questions on your own, and naturally take the contacts required to move the work forward.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience from the aviation industry or UAS/drone operations, with a good understanding of associated regulations (EASA open/specific/certified).
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience working with governing documents and procedures.

We consider it a major plus if you have a certificate or training within UAS (e.g., A2 or higher) and experience working with certification processes such as SORA. It is also meritorious if you have previously built or managed a Safety Management System (SMS) and have experience creating an Operations Manual or equivalent operational documentation.
