Job Description

Our client is undergoing a major business change, establishing a new operational organization. As part of this initiative, new IT support systems are being built to ensure efficient, robust, and long-term sustainable business processes.

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect who can translate business needs and technical requirements into well-thought-out architectural solutions. The role involves close collaboration with business units, IT specialists, information security, and external vendors to create a cohesive and future-proof system landscape.

You will become a central part of a larger transformation project, responsible for solution architecture within business-critical systems, integrations, and information flows. The work also includes analysis, technical decision-making, and support during procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and document solution architecture and technical design for business-critical systems.
• Analyze processes, information flows, integrations, and system dependencies.
• Ensure that solutions meet requirements for security, performance, availability, and manageability.
• Contribute to technical investigations, architecture forums, and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare technical specifications and architectural requirements for procurement.
• Collaborate with business units, development teams, security functions, and external vendors.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar architectural role in complex IT environments.
• Several years of experience independently designing solutions based on business needs, architectural principles, and security requirements.
• Several years of experience analyzing business processes, information flows, and system landscapes.
• Experience where solution architecture, integration design, or equivalent documentation served as the basis for implementation or deployment.
• Several years of experience with system integrations and information flows in complex IT environments.
• Relevant academic degree in IT or equivalent documented work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from establishing new businesses, business acquisitions, or major transformation projects.
• Experience with IT procurement within the public sector.
• Certification in IT architecture or equivalent.
• Experience with business-critical systems with high demands for availability and security.
