We are strengthening our team with a furniture carpenter for a full-time position. The role encompasses all common tasks in the manufacturing process, such as solid wood bending, milling, sanding, and assembly. At our company, you handle every step from work planning until the chairs are ready for delivery. Since we manufacture exclusively to order, batch sizes vary; it is common to produce batches of 4 chairs, but also up to 30, depending on the customer's order. To succeed in this role, you must be capable of learning and mastering all stages of the process.

Gemla Fabrikers is Sweden's oldest furniture factory, founded in 1861 in Diö, located between Älmhult and Ljungby. Here, we produce world-class products designed by some of Sweden's most skilled designers, such as Jonas Bohlin, Front, Mats Theselius, and many others.

Everything is produced by hand in our factory in Diö, from raw planks to finished furniture. The production series are relatively small, which makes the tasks varied. At Gemla, no two days are exactly alike.
