We are strengthening our upholstery department with a full-time position. You will join a team of three employees. The role involves upholstery, sewing, and to some extent leatherwork. At our company, you handle all stages of the process, from planning the work until the chairs are ready for delivery. We manufacture exclusively to order, meaning an order can consist of 4 chairs but also up to 30 chairs, depending on the customer's request. To succeed in this role, you must be proficient in all stages of the process.

Gemla Fabrikers is Sweden's oldest furniture factory, founded in 1861 in Diö, located between Älmhult and Ljungby. Here, we produce world-class products designed by some of Sweden's most skilled designers, such as Jonas Bohlin, Front, Mats Theselius, and many others.

Everything is produced by hand in our factory in Diö, from raw planks to finished furniture. The production series are relatively small, which makes the tasks varied. At Gemla, no two days are exactly alike.
