The health center in Rottne has approximately 4,900 registered patients and is centrally located in the community with good bus connections to Växjö. Here, we offer care and treatment throughout life. Our team consists of doctors, district nurses, assistant nurses, and medical secretaries. Our operations are characterized by good treatment, high accessibility, and a patient-centered approach.

Job Responsibilities

As a Specialist in General Medicine with us, you will have a broad, varied, and meaningful assignment with good opportunities to follow your patients over time.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Reception work with both planned and acute patient visits
• Examination, assessment, investigation, and treatment of patients of all ages
• Follow-up and long-term treatment of chronic diseases
• Participation in rounds within home healthcare and special housing
• Medical record documentation as well as work with medical quality and patient safety
• Active teamwork with other professions for a holistic approach to care
• Participation in business development, improvement work, and medical meetings
• Opportunity to supervise AT (Internship) and ST (Specialist Training) doctors as well as medical students

On-call duty at the emergency doctor's clinic is included in the assignment.
