Vårdcentral Smedjebacken has approximately 7,100 registered residents. We operate a doctor's office, a laboratory for sample collection, healthcare advice, district nurse consultations, and specialist nurses with their own clinics. We also offer Child Health Services (BVC), Midwife Clinic, Diabetes care, Blood Pressure clinic, Asthma/COPD clinic, Memory Clinic, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation Coordination, Counseling, Risk/Addiction Clinic, and a Care Coordinator for Mental Health with a dedicated clinic at the health center.

Our staff consists of many different professional categories with broad competence. Collaboration and utilizing each other's diverse knowledge are important parts of our daily work.

Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.

We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist for Vårdcentral Smedjebacken.

Occupational therapy in primary care is in an exciting phase of development where our expertise is increasingly in demand. We have a close and well-functioning collaboration with other professions such as physiotherapists, counselors/counseling therapists, doctors, rehabilitation coordinators, nurses, and assistant nurses. We see inter-professional collaboration as a must for development and a well-functioning health center.

Areas of work:

• Hand rehabilitation
• Memory assessment
• Education for patients and relatives (e.g., Arthritis School)
• Provision of assistive devices

The work involves both individual interventions and teamwork with other professions, where the patient's participation and independence are always in focus.

As a newly hired occupational therapist, you will receive a structured and secure introduction. You will get an overview of the entire health center's operations as well as an in-depth introduction to the various areas of responsibility for occupational therapists. We value collegial support, competence development, and an open work climate where we learn from each other. We have been working in the medical record system Cosmic since October 2025.

• Licensed Occupational Therapist
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Experience in primary care is preferred, but experience from other sectors is also meritorious and of interest.
