As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work within the client's initiative for technical transformation, focusing on building shared platforms, components, and ways of working that can be used broadly across the organization. The role combines advanced technology with close collaboration with the business, meaning you will help different teams move forward faster in their development. You will work practically with complex technical problems within various product areas. This may involve building AI-based solutions, setting up cloud environments, developing reusable components, establishing CI/CD pipelines, or guiding teams on how to work more modernly and efficiently.

The work takes place close to the client's product and business operations. The team does not function as a traditional IT or consulting organization, but steps in where there is a need for technical direction, shared structures, and practical support. The goal is to create momentum, build capability, and hand over solutions and ways of working that the business can drive forward independently.

An important part of the role is the ability to switch between hands-on development and change work. In some initiatives, the focus may lie on coding and technical problem-solving, while in others, it may be on holding workshops, creating understanding, and helping other teams start using new platforms, tools, and ways of working. You will work in environments where the solution is not always defined from the start. This means you need to be able to identify needs, create structure in complex issues, and contribute to technical decisions that strengthen long-term development.

• Build and further develop shared platforms and components
• Develop solutions within areas such as AI, cloud, edge computing, and CI/CD
• Identify reusable components in existing and new initiatives
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, designers, and domain experts
• Guide teams in technical decisions, modern ways of working, and best practices
• Hold workshops and support businesses in technical and organizational change
• Transform vague and complex needs into clear technical solutions
• Contribute to modular architecture and shared technical structures

To be considered for the role, we see that you have experience in software development and thrive in roles where technology is combined with collaboration, communication, and change. You have a good understanding of how modern technical solutions are built, integrated, and used in larger organizations.

We see that you have:

• Experience in programming in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript
• Good understanding of system architecture and integrations
• Experience working with cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with modern development methods and tools, such as cloud, CI/CD, and agile ways of working
• Experience handling vague requirements and translating complex needs into concrete solutions
• Ability to communicate technical solutions in English in dialogue with technical teams and the business

It is meritorious if you have experience with digital transformation, AI-based solutions, edge computing, real-time systems, modular architecture, or reusable components. Experience in holding workshops, guiding other teams, or driving technical change initiatives is also valuable.

As a person, you are curious, collaborative, and confident in reaching out to other parts of the organization. You have the ability to explain technical solutions in a pedagogical way and can create understanding even in contexts where the conditions are unclear. You are humble towards others' perspectives, see opportunities in complex environments, and have a solution-oriented approach to driving work forward.

The position is security classified and implies that you need to pass a security clearance. In connection with this, requirements for certain citizenship may apply.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary
