With an annual budget of nearly 1 billion SEK, ÖBO invests heavily in the renovation and development of our existing properties. In accordance with our new renovation strategy, we are set to renovate over 7,000 apartments in the next 10 years. We are therefore looking for a skilled employee who will be responsible for all our maintenance projects within the construction technical field.

Your role

In the role of Maintenance Manager for construction projects, you will have overall responsibility for ÖBO’s larger renovation projects. You manage and are responsible for our planning, execution, and economy to ensure that buildings are renovated at the right pace, handle unplanned or urgent maintenance, and work in accordance with our sustainability goals. You are supported by internal and external project managers for the execution of projects, as well as other support functions within technology, procurement, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), customer, and housing issues. The budget typically ranges between approximately 200–400 million SEK per year and mainly includes large-scale renovation projects, riser renovations, and other types of maintenance and renovation projects.

The position is located within the Technical Management Department, in the Maintenance group consisting of 7 people. The entire department comprises 28 people working to develop and manage ÖBO’s technology, energy, and maintenance.

Your qualifications

• You are a skilled builder with an eye and interest for economics, or a capable economist with construction knowledge.
• We see that you have good competence in economics, building technology, building physics, and HSE.
• You have experience working with renovation projects, preferably in combination with tenants remaining in their homes or ongoing operations.
• Several years of experience from client-side operations or another equivalent leadership role within the construction or property industry.
• Experience from procurement within the Public Procurement Act (LOU) and driving projects within public administration is advantageous.
• We believe you might currently work as, for example, a project manager, project engineer, property manager, or property economist.

Employment terms

Permanent. Full-time. Start date by agreement. Extract from the Swedish Police Authority’s register of criminal records may be requested. Probationary period may apply. Selection is made on an ongoing basis.
