We at the Energy and Indoor Environment department are responsible for the indoor environment in our properties. Our goal is to make these properties as energy-efficient as possible. We have gathered high-level competence within the department, where property technicians, operations technicians in electricity, piping, and operations optimization, as well as engineers in SRÖ and HVAC, work together to find smart solutions for operations.

The Energy and Indoor Environment department is part of the Operations and Maintenance division, which is responsible for supervision, repair, and operation of outdoor environments, buildings, and installations. We strive for good technical status and satisfied tenants over time. This is achieved through close collaboration with tenants, other divisions within the administration, and other organizations in the city. The division is also responsible for conducting inspections required by authorities and contributes to the development of energy-saving measures.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for the operation and monitoring of the administration's various technical installations, primarily heating and ventilation, and ensure a good indoor climate for our customers. The assignment is both developmental and challenging in a changing environment with strong technical development, a context with knowledgeable employees, and a diversity of technical systems.

The assignment includes, among other things, energy optimizing the properties, planning and carrying out maintenance measures, and actively participating in development issues. With high technical competence and an understanding of the tenants' operations, you create a good environment for those who stay in our properties together with your colleagues.

An important part of the job is troubleshooting, rectifying faults, and handling urgent cases from tenants and control systems. The work is located both in the office and out in the properties.

The position is a fixed-term employment for 5 months.

Qualifications

You are flexible, driven, and have a solution-oriented approach to work. You are self-reliant with good structure, order, and tidiness. With the tenant in focus, you are motivated by a high level of service and knowledge of what contributes to quality in the interaction. To succeed in the assignment, you are a communicative person who easily builds trust in collaboration with others.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Post-secondary education with a focus on operations technology
  • Several years of experience in operational responsibility and properties
  • Experience in practical work within computerized control and regulation as well as monitoring
  • Experience and a strong interest in energy efficiency and operations optimization
  • Driver's license, class B

It is meritorious if you have worked with similar tasks within public administration.

Since the recruitment takes place during the vacation period, feedback and the possibility to answer questions may be limited during the summer. We plan to start interviews no earlier than the end of August.
