ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Construction Manager at Intressanta Hus, you are responsible for the entire construction process – from project handover upon customer request to final inspection and move-in. You manage several parallel small-house projects and work closely with sales staff, carpenters, subcontractors, and colleagues at the head office. The role requires both presence on the construction site and structure in administrative work. You have overall responsibility for time, cost, and quality – with the goal of delivering projects with high customer satisfaction and a zero-defect protocol at final inspection.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate construction projects throughout the entire construction process
• Create, monitor, and adjust schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors
• Hold construction meetings and ensure presence in projects
• Responsible for technical consultations and final consultations
• Follow up on self-inspections, ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival/Completion), costs, and invoices
• Handle administration, documentation, and minutes
• Participate in frame erection, inspections, and handover to the customer

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a construction technical background and several years of experience driving construction projects – preferably within small-house production. You are confident in both the practical reality of the construction site and the administrative follow-up, and you thrive in a role where you have many contact surfaces – both internally and with customers.

We are looking for you who have:

• At least 5 years of experience from the construction industry with experience as a construction manager or project manager
• Experience in driving and coordinating construction projects
• Good knowledge of scheduling, project management, and subcontractor coordination
• Experience with self-inspections, inspections, and final inspections
• Experience with customer contact
• Experience with administrative work (ETA, invoices, documentation)
• Ability to read and understand K-drawings (construction drawings)
• Knowledge of construction law (AB04, ABT06)
• Bas U certificate
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of Safe Water & BKR
• Knowledge of Excel, Google Drive, and Slack
