About Hanemålaskolan

Hanemålaskolan is a modern school located close to nature in the eastern part of Nybro, just before the town center and in close proximity to public transport. The school is a partner with Linnaeus University and the Vi-school project, where we help train the next generation of teachers.

You will work closely with colleagues in work teams and actively contribute to the school's development. Together, we create a safe and stimulating learning environment where students are given the conditions to develop both physically and socially.

Responsibilities

We are looking for you who have the qualifications to teach Physical Education (PE) for grades F–6. With good didactic skills, subject knowledge, and clear structure, you will create the best conditions for our students to meet the knowledge requirements.

In this role, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in Physical Education and Health, in accordance with current governing documents.

In the classroom, you lead through a clear lesson structure with expectations for the students and the ability to build relationships. You should be a secure, engaged, and relationship-building person who can combine value-based goals with development and learning.

As a PE teacher, you will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in Physical Education and Health for grades 1–6
• Work based on the curriculum (Lgr22) and contribute to students' knowledge development
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Assess and document students' knowledge
• Collaborate with colleagues, student health services, and guardians

The position is a temporary vacancy during the autumn term of 2026, as our regular PE teacher will be on parental leave.

Qualifications and Merits

• Are a certified teacher or leisure center teacher with qualifications in Physical Education and Health for grades 1–6
• Have good knowledge of the curriculum and governing documents
• Are confident in your leadership during teaching situations
• Have the ability to adapt teaching to students' different needs

Experience from working in primary school is meritorious. Personal suitability is given great weight.
