About the Position

Being a teacher and professional pedagogue in Huddinge Municipality means having high expectations and a belief that all students can achieve success based on their prerequisites. You build good relationships with both students and guardians, based on trust and respect. You are aware of your own impact on students' learning. Based on student results, research, and proven experience, you monitor teaching quality, reflect, and evaluate with the aim of developing teaching. You provide forward-looking feedback to students to support development and assist students in need of special support. We work with collegial learning, which means you collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself, your teaching, and the school's pedagogical work. We are now looking for a craft teacher who, together with the work team, will run and develop our fine operation. You have several subject colleagues but are also part of a work team where you jointly plan and implement cross-curricular teaching.

Who are you?

It is a requirement that you are a certified primary school teacher in the subject of craft (slöjd) and preferably another subject. You are well-versed in the steering documents and have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. You are flexible, have good cooperation skills, and find it easy to build good relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, the work team, the school's student health team, and school management. In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader, and in the classroom, you have the ability to create a work environment characterized by security, trust, and respect. With good didactic skills, solid subject knowledge, clear structure, and varied teaching adapted to the individual student, you create the best conditions for our students to meet the knowledge requirements. You see documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work. You have good analytical and reflective abilities and constantly develop your teaching. You see yourself as a natural part of creating good conditions for students' learning. For this position, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
