The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and the Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important task is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. Långsjöskolan is a primary school with approximately 360 students, from preschool class to year 3. About 50 dedicated employees work at the school. With us, you get good conditions to succeed in your important task.

In the autumn term of 2022, Långsjöskolan moved into a new school building next to the Gömmaren Nature Reserve. Together with Skansbergsskolan (grades F-3) and Segeltorpsskolan (grades 4-9), Långsjöskolan forms the Segeltorp principal's area, which creates good opportunities for cooperation and development.

About the job

We are looking for a student assistant and have good knowledge, understanding, and tools to meet students with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) and students in need of special support. As a student assistant, you support the students throughout the entire combined school day, to give the students the best conditions to succeed both in school and at after-school care.

You have an easy time creating good relationships and contribute to safety, well-being, and good development both socially and academically. You are flexible and have good cooperation skills with both students, guardians, the work team, the school's student health team, and school management.

We work with collegial learning, which means that you collaborate with colleagues to develop yourself and the school's pedagogical work. You need to be communicative and clear, and have the ability to communicate fluently in Swedish both orally and in writing.

You are a safe, calm, and stable person who can handle stress and changes with flexibility and a solution-oriented approach. You adapt easily to changed circumstances and based on the needs of the operation and students.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge, understanding, and tools to meet students with NPD and students in need of special support.
• Is a safe, calm, and stable person
• Is clear and can contribute to creating structure, predictability, and safety in the students' learning environment
• Can communicate fluently in Swedish orally and in writing
• Has good digital competence and the ability to use digital tools in pedagogical work

Formal competencies

• Pedagogical education - education that the employer deems relevant for the task, such as resource teacher, childcare worker, student assistant, or other equivalent education
• Language requirement - Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish orally and in writing
• Adaptations and special support - We are looking for someone who has good knowledge, understanding, and tools to meet students with NPD and students in need of special support
• Digital competence - Ability to work in Google for Education and Vklass
