Student Assistant for Special Education Group at Edsbergsskolan (60%)

Edsbergsskolan is a lower secondary school with the vision "safe students who enjoy school and are well prepared for the future." The school consists of two parts: a standard school for grades 7–9 with just under 300 students, and an adapted school for grades 7–9 with around 30 students. We offer specialization in music and sports, as well as advanced training in English and mathematics.

This is a permanent position at 60% with a start in August or as agreed.

Responsibilities

As a student assistant in the special education group, you work closely with students who need extra support in their academic and social development. You support students in their lessons, help create structure and security in daily life, and contribute to an accessible learning environment by working with adaptations based on individual needs. The role involves close collaboration with teachers, student health services, and other staff to ensure that students receive the right support in both teaching situations and social contexts.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have adequate education or experience working with students in need of special support, as deemed suitable by the employer. You are secure, relationship-building, and clear in your approach, and have the ability to create structure and calm for students who need an adapted learning environment. You thrive in close collaboration with colleagues and have a strong commitment to contributing to the students' development.
