About Us

INNOVITASKOLAN VÄLLINGBY PARK operates in bright and beautiful premises. Here, students can attend from preschool up to grade 9. We have two school buildings: in one, students attend from preschool to grade 6, and in the other, students attend from grade 7 to grade 9. All students and children have good conditions to be seen and developed based on their individual prerequisites. The schoolyard is constantly being developed, and the proximity to green areas is utilized frequently.

Your Role

We are looking for a certified lower secondary school teacher (grades 4-6) who is qualified in Mathematics and Natural Sciences (No). You want to work at a school that wants to give all students the opportunity to make their own choices in the future. Here, you will contribute every day to the development of all students towards educational goals and support colleagues, students, and the entire work team.

You are a certified Math/Science teacher for lower secondary school who is accustomed to collaborating in work teams but also working independently. Your strength lies in creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We have a subject-teacher system, which means you teach in your specific subjects. Our lower secondary school is organized in parallel classes. You plan and conduct teaching, make subject assessments, and set grades.

We believe that subject integration is important to create coherence across different subjects. We work with an equal lesson design where our "Innovitskills" are included: explore, innovate, and balance. All our teachers working 100% have mentor students, which means close contact with guardians regarding the students' knowledge development.

In close collaboration with other teachers and the principal, you contribute to creating accessible learning environments that enable all students to succeed in school. You are good at setting up adaptations and special support based on students' needs and prerequisites. You work language-developing in all grades.

Therefore, we are looking for you with a strong personal commitment to learning and who is driven to explore new methods and techniques in teaching through collegial collaboration.

As a teacher with us, you are receptive and want to guide students into the future. You are also creative, open, structured, and a clear leader. You base your work on research and experience and are not afraid to try different methods in your teaching with students. You have experience in driving processes and improvement work. You should have an approach that keeps the focus on goal achievement through follow-up and analysis. It is meritorious if you have good knowledge of modern digital tools.
