Tappströmsskolan is a 7-9 school with approximately 600 students. The school shows high results in terms of grades, well-being, and safety. The school has functional, purpose-built premises with well-equipped special classrooms. We have high expectations of our staff regarding professionalism, attitude, and interaction. The school is located in the central town of Ekerö with good and fast bus connections from Brommaplan.

Job Description

In Ekerö Municipality, teachers are given time for the children and the teaching – today we are one of Sweden's leading school municipalities. To give the students the best conditions, our municipal schools continuously share experiences and insights with each other. Tappströmsskolan in Ekerö is now looking for an engaged and qualified primary school teacher for teaching Swedish and Spanish in the lower secondary school (years 7-9).

The position is a fixed-term appointment with good prospects for permanent employment. You will teach students in years 7–9 and be an important part of the school's pedagogical work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a certified primary school teacher with the eligibility to teach Swedish and Spanish.
• Have experience with mentoring and thrive in supporting students' academic and social development.
• Preferably have experience or interest in cross-curricular work and collaboration with colleagues.
• Are a clear leader in the classroom and create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
