We are now looking for a warehouse worker for Smålands Stål in Lanna. The role offers varied tasks within warehousing, production, and distribution in a family-oriented work environment with short decision-making paths. Here, the right person will have an important role in daily operations and the opportunity to contribute to the company's continued development as the local steel supplier.

Smålands Stål offers a complete range of steel and metals, as well as processing services such as cutting, blasting, and painting. With a local sales office and warehouse in Lanna, the company can offer fast deliveries and high service to its customers. Through advice on material selection and logistics solutions, Smålands Stål helps its customers create efficient and sustainable businesses.

The operations are characterized by a family culture, short decision-making paths, and close collaboration between employees, sales, and management. Together, the team works to be the obvious local steel supplier.

The role involves varied work where responsibility is taken for receiving, storing, processing, and delivering goods to customers in a safe, efficient, and quality-conscious manner.

The work includes receiving and loading goods, warehouse picking, and cutting materials according to customer requests. The role also includes participation in daily planning where tasks are prioritized and distributed within the team. Deliveries to customers in the local area are a natural part of the position.

To ensure a well-functioning operation, daily supervision of forklifts and overhead cranes is carried out, along with quality controls in production and warehousing, and simple maintenance of the building, forklifts, and machinery. You will also participate in ongoing and annual inventories.

We are looking for a responsible, engaged, and structured person who thrives in a varied role with both independent work and close collaboration with colleagues. To succeed in the role, a structured work approach, a good sense of order, and confidence in working with digital systems are required.

You have a positive attitude, contribute to good collaboration, and recognize the importance of safety, quality, and service in daily work.

• Category B driver's license
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
• Good knowledge of English in both speech and writing
• Good computer skills
• Forklift license

• Overhead crane license
• Experience in warehousing, production, or logistics

Start date: According to agreement
Employment type: Permanent employment with probation period, where you are hired directly by Smålands Stål
Location: Lanna, Bredaryd Municipality
