Are you a handy problem solver who enjoys tinkering, troubleshooting, and getting things working again? Do you have experience with vehicles, construction machinery, or the industry, or are you currently working as a field or maintenance technician? Wirtgen welcomes your application, and we are now looking to expand our team of dedicated Service Technicians. We are therefore seeking a Service Technician for Gothenburg/Western Sweden, where you will work from home and visit our customers on-site.

For our operations in Western Sweden, we are now looking for a Service Technician who wants to become part of an established and cohesive team. Here, you enjoy the freedom of field work while always having colleagues nearby for support, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. You drive a fully equipped service vehicle and have great freedom in your daily routine, backed by a competent team and a dedicated manager.

Your Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you will work with the service, repair, and troubleshooting of our machines, with a focus on: Asphalt Pavers from VÖGELE, Cold Milling Machines from Wirtgen, and Rollers from HAMM.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing machines at customer sites
• Handling warranty claims, upgrades, and commissioning
• Documenting completed work via app/computer
• Maintaining daily customer contact and building long-term relationships

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

You have:

• Experience working with construction machinery, industry, or similar fields
• Good technical understanding of areas such as electricity, hydraulics, or mechanics
• Alternatively, experience as a field/maintenance technician in another sector
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English
• A valid driver's license (Category B)

To thrive in this role, you need to be proactive, responsible, and collaborative. You are solution-oriented and like to see tasks through to completion.
