Environmental Worker/Sweeping Truck Driver (Karlshamn)

About the role

At Ohlssons, we are looking for Environmental Workers/Sweeping Truck Drivers with a Category C license for our waste management contract in Karlshamn, starting in October. In this role, you will enjoy a varied daily routine working outdoors, performing meaningful work that contributes to a sustainable future.

Your main tasks will involve collecting household waste according to planned routes using our rear-loading trucks (4-compartment/village trucks). Attention to detail is crucial to ensure all bins are emptied correctly, and you will be responsible for carrying out the work in a safe and secure manner. As a key ambassador for Ohlssons, you will interact with many customers, so a positive attitude and a passion for good customer service are essential.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Category C driver's license.
• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB).
• Experience in driving, preferably in the waste management industry.
• Basic IT skills.
• Good proficiency in Swedish (both spoken and written).
• Local knowledge of the region is considered an advantage.
