Our Operations

The Hospital-Linked Home Care (LAH) provides specialized home care in the areas of palliative and medical care.

We operate both in the patient's home and on our care ward, with operations running 24/7. Our mission is to care for our patients in their homes, but also in the hospital when needed, specifically on our own ward. We work for a complete care chain to create security for our connected patients. We are approximately 35 employees and have a very nice climate within the work group.

Your Role

Standard duties as a nurse. LAH applies an integrated working method, which means you will work both on the care ward and in the patient's home. You will work independently, and in home care, you will have freedom and mobility, making the work varied!

As a new employee at Enköping Hospital, you will receive a solid and supportive start to your career. In addition to your workplace-specific introduction, you will also participate in our extensive induction week for new employees, KULE - Clinical Education Enköping Hospital, where we offer an interprofessional setup. Here, you will meet and collaborate with colleagues from several different professional categories. For newly graduated nurses, we also offer an enhanced introduction for an additional three months. This includes reflective professional supervision as well as shadowing and coaching by our clinical adjunct. You will also participate in practical training at our CTE (Clinical Training Unit, Enköping Hospital), a safe and supportive environment to practice and develop your skills.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse; great importance is placed on interest in the overall operations and personal suitability. It is meritorious if you have further education in palliative care, experience of palliative care, or experience of home care, but this is not a requirement.
A driver's license is a requirement.

Your Competence

You have good communication and collaboration skills, function well in a team but also thrive working independently. As a person, you are structured and proactive. Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities.

We Offer

We offer a permanent position on a full-time basis (or part-time if desired), with start date by agreement. Here, you work days, evenings, and weekends. Since the operations have several orientations, we have placed great emphasis on well-thought-out, long introductions that are adapted to your needs so that you feel secure regarding the different parts of the operations. A 6-month probationary period may be applied.
