About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare for families with children within the NPF spectrum.

NPF stands for neurodevelopmental disorder, and the most common disorders are: ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and Speech disorder. Our goal is to help as many people with special needs as possible, which is why you will undergo internal training in NPF before starting your first assignment. At NPF Barnvakten, you will find a developing, joyful, and incredibly rewarding part-time job.

The assignment:

Number of children and age: 1 child, 4.5 years old

Days and times: 2-3 times a week

Desired start date: Immediately

Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.

Location: Uppsala, Nyby

We are looking for someone who:

• Has some form of experience with children, preferably children with NPF (ADHD, Autism, ID, or similar)
• Has experience with low-affective handling and clarifying pedagogy
• Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children
• Wants a developing and rewarding part-time job
• Is pedagogical, secure, and calm

Advantageous if you have a driver's license

Advantageous if you have experience with visual supports

Advantageous if you speak Spanish and/or Italian

Tasks:

The tasks may vary depending on the family's needs.

Typical tasks may include:

• Pick-up from preschool/school
• Organizing activities in and outside the home
• Acting as support during excursions
• Cooking simple meals
• Bathing
• Activation, socialization, and respite
