About the job
Verdis is responsible for waste collection in Sundsvall, with MittSverige Vatten och Avfall as the client and partner. We now need to strengthen the department with several positive and goal-oriented environmental workers with a Category C license and YKB certification who can work full-time over the summer (June–August). There is also an opportunity for continued employment afterwards.

As an environmental worker, you have a leading role within the company. You are Verdis's face to the public and you become one of our everyday heroes helping to keep Sundsvall clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with the company's routines and our client's requirements. You report to the management.

Your duties include among other things:

• Collection and transport of waste with rear-loading collection vehicles
• Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Reporting deviations
• Daily maintenance/control of vehicles and superstructures, as well as washing them when necessary
• Submitting vehicles to the workshop when necessary

Who are you?
We are looking for you who:

• Have a Category C driving license with the accompanying YKB certification
• Master the Swedish language in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have:

• Professional experience as a truck driver and knowledge of heavy vehicles
• Previous experience in some form of waste collection
• Good local knowledge

Start: According to agreement
Employment type and scope: Fixed-term full-time employment during the period June–August, starting with a need-based employment now in spring for introduction and extra work.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, daytime between 06:00–15:00, including red days and evenings such as Midsummer's Eve.
