Berghemskolan is a municipal primary school (Grades F-6) with just under 330 students located in the eastern part of Jakobsberg, Järfälla Municipality. The school is characterized by a positive and secure environment with dedicated staff and good goal achievement among our students. We actively work to maintain a school, after-school center, and youth club where both students and educators thrive and feel safe. We all help create good conditions for our students' learning in an stimulating work environment.

Job Description

As a school nurse, you work preventively and health-promoting based on Järfälla Municipality's basic program for student health. The medical tasks include health visits, open reception, administering vaccinations, and planning school doctor consultations.

In your role as a school nurse, you are part of the school's student health team and work together with the team to support students in achieving their goals at school. You also collaborate with other staff, guardians, other organizations, and authorities outside the school to create a safe school environment that promotes health and learning.

You will have your assignment at two school units in the municipality, with Berghemskolan as your main workplace (4 days/week) and loaned to the other school for 1 day/week.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist education in healthcare for children and adolescents, district nurse, or school nurse. Previous experience working as a school nurse is required.

You have a strong sense of responsibility, are meticulous, and flexible. You feel confident working independently but have a good ability to collaborate and coordinate. You communicate easily and meet people well, and you enjoy working with children, adolescents, and their guardians.

For us, it is important that you enjoy working preventively and promotively in close contact with students, guardians, and staff. You need to be stress-resistant and accustomed to juggling many tasks and knowing when to put them down. At the school, all employees focus on increasing goal achievement.
