We are now looking for several skilled environmental workers who want to work a summer job at Verdis in Sundsvall.

About the job
Verdis is responsible for waste collection in Sundsvall, with MittSverige Vatten och Avfall as the client and partner. We now need to strengthen the department with several positive and goal-oriented environmental workers who want to work extra in our personnel pool and who can work full-time over the summer (June–August). You will work as a ride-along, accompanying one of our skilled drivers to pick up and collect waste.

As an environmental worker, you play a key role within the company. You are Verdis's face to the public and you become one of our everyday heroes helping to keep Sundsvall clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with the company's routines and our client's requirements. You report to the site management.

Your duties include among other things:

• Collection and transport of waste together with our skilled drivers
• Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Reporting deviations
• Daily maintenance, inspection of vehicles and superstructures, and washing them as needed
• Submitting vehicles to the workshop when necessary

Who are you?
We are looking for you who:

• Master the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Enjoy dynamic and mobile work

It is an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience in some form of waste collection
• Good local knowledge

This position suits you if you enjoy dynamic, fast-paced work and have good physical fitness. As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, solution-focused, and cooperative. You are also responsible and take pride in performing your work in the best possible way.

Start: April/May
Employment type and scope: Fixed-term full-time employment during the period June–August, starting with a needs-based employment this spring for introduction and extra work.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, daytime between 06:00–15:00, including public holidays and evenings such as Midsummer's Eve.
