About the role
You are the hub for the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring medical orders are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure high quality in operations.
Collaboration and support
You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and train the care staff so that together you give each resident the best possible life. In this job, you work closely with the residence's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in daily work.
We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. A course we can offer you is "Leading without being a manager".
Getting to know the residents
Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions.
Clear routines
To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and easy-to-apply routines, control documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Miraq and is industry-leading.
As a new nurse with us, you participate in our digital induction program together with your mentor to ensure you receive a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into the work and our routines.

About Solbacka Dementia Residence
Solbacka Dementia Residence has 64 permanent places for people with cognitive diagnoses.
Your experience and knowledge
You are a licensed nurse, and we would like you to have worked a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-morbid, which requires that you have broad knowledge of different diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
