Do you want to work as a nurse in the Stroke, Neuro, and Orthopedic Clinic in Östersund? We are looking for dedicated and licensed nurses who wish to work as consultants through Agito and contribute to high-quality care on the stroke, neuro, or orthopedic wards in Östersund. The assignments are flexible and can be adapted to your preferences regarding scope, working hours, and duration. Multiple lines of specialization are available.
We naturally cover travel and accommodation as needed.
About the Role
As a nurse in Stroke, Neuro, or Orthopedics in Östersund, you will work in professional teams where your nursing and medical responsibility is central to the patients' recovery and safety. You will encounter patients at various stages of the care chain and be involved in assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
- A strict requirement is that the nurse must be able to handle medical technical equipment such as: infusion pump, syringe pump, bladder scan, catheterization (KAD/RIK), ECG, tube feeding administration, oxygen therapy, airway suctioning, sample collection, CVC management/care/sampling, and PIV insertion, etc.
- Desired qualifications: experience working with orthopedic care and/or emergency care is advantageous.
- Common software: Cosmic with medication module and LINK care planning; experience with Cosmic documentation is desirable. Nova board/tablet is used on the ward as a work tool.

Responsibilities
- Assess and document patients' care needs according to current guidelines.
- Administer and follow up on medication treatments, including thrombolysis readiness where applicable.
- Perform neurological and orthopedic nursing interventions, wound care, and injection treatments.
- Collaborate with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare staff in care planning and rehabilitation.
- Participate in handovers, rounds, and patient safety work.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Licensed nurse with a valid Swedish license.
- At least 2 years of experience, preferably from stroke, neuro, or orthopedic care or other relevant inpatient care.
- Good command of Swedish in speech and writing.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, as well as good communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work in varying shifts.
- Driver's license and access to a car can be advantageous.
