About Us

Motala Hissar is a leading manufacturer of elevators for buildings with limited space, and we produce one of the world's most space-efficient elevators. We are part of the Innovalift Group, owned by Latour Industries.

Motala Hissar was founded in 1972 with the manufacturing of shopping center elevators. Since the 1980s, the company has primarily focused on platform elevators, which are largely used for accessibility adaptations of buildings. Over 10,000 elevators have so far been delivered to customers worldwide. Approximately 60% of production is exported.

We manufacture all mechanical parts in our own facility, meaning we have full control over production. If a customer requires a special solution or particularly fast delivery time, we can usually accommodate this. Our production facility in Motala is centrally located geographically with fast distribution routes both north and south. We have our own development department that continuously works on making our products better, smarter, cheaper, and even more space-saving. The company is certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you are responsible for the daily operations in the production on our sheet metal department, where your main role is team leadership, but also ensuring quality, delivery precision, and a safe working environment. You will be part of a group of team leaders and report to the Production Manager.

Your main areas of responsibility:

• Lead and distribute daily work within production
• Responsibility for a team of about 10 employees, development discussions, follow-up, and support in daily work
• Monitor production goals, key figures, and report to the Production Manager
• Ensure that occupational health and safety procedures are followed
• Participate in and drive improvement work
• Work closely with other departments such as purchasing and delivery to optimize the flow

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a workshop technical background and previous experience in leadership within industrial manufacturing. You are communicative, solution-oriented, and have the ability to engage and motivate your employees.

We believe you have:

• Relevant education in industry or production
• Previous experience in sheet metal processing is highly meritorious
• Previous experience in production management
• Good knowledge of production processes and improvement work
• Experience working with business systems and production planning
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
