On behalf of our client, we are looking for a reliable person who wants to work in the household of an English-speaking, relaxed, and pleasant family in the Stockholm area. The family consists of 2 adults and 3 children aged 2–9. It is important that you have high integrity as well as a sense of what it means to work in a private home.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

You are the hub of the household and enjoy keeping the home in top shape.

You are responsible for maintaining order and ensuring that the home is tidy, clean, and well-organized.

You are also skilled at cooking and are responsible for planning, shopping, cooking, and setting the table until the family comes home to eat dinner around 17:30, as well as ensuring there are packed lunches for the next day. You leave the kitchen clean and tidy.

You need to have good knowledge of food and food hygiene, but a formal chef education is not a requirement. The most important thing is that the food is delicious, well-prepared, nutritious, and appreciated by all family members of different ages.

You pick up the children from school/preschool when the school day is over and ensure they have a snack when they arrive home. Assistance with morning drop-offs may also be needed if necessary.

For this position, we place great value on your personality, as you will be working in the family's home. The family is very keen on creating a good working environment and favorable working conditions, and hopes to find someone who can stay with the household for a long time to come.

HOURS AND EMPLOYMENT:

The position is initially a part-time employment of approximately 75–80%, but this may change if needed. Working hours are primarily daytime Monday–Friday approx. 12:00–18:00, but some earlier mornings, evenings, and weekends may occur. Flexible working hours according to agreement with the family. Monthly or hourly wage according to agreement.

ABOUT YOU:

For this position, your age or previous experience does not matter as much. The most important thing is your personality; responsible, flexible, considerate, discreet, and able to cooperate and communicate well with the family. Since the parents are primarily English-speaking, you must be able to communicate fluently in English. The children speak both Swedish and English. You are self-motivated and can plan your time in the best way. You enjoy working independently, taking initiative, and like to make the family's daily life easier.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in a similar position with excellent references.
• Always work with discretion and professionalism.
• A skilled cook.
• Proud to keep the property clean and presentable.
• Must be able to speak fluent Swedish and English.
• Driver's license and own car are meritorious.
• Seeking a long-term position.
• Relaxed person with a positive attitude.
