Sandviken Municipality is now looking for a Project Manager for the Technical Office – a key role where you have the opportunity to lead an experienced project organization responsible for the municipality's construction and infrastructure projects.

About the role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for a group consisting of 7 project managers. The role is newly established and was created to create clearer commissioning processes and give the operations better conditions to work strategically and long-term.

It is an autonomous group, which means you will also be able to drive your own projects.

We are looking for you who are confident in delegating responsibility, creating conditions for independent employees, and being there as support when needed.

You will work with:

• Leadership and development of the project organization
• Strategic planning and operational development
• Development of commissioning and project processes
• Economic follow-up and operational control
• Procurement issues and contract-related processes
• Ongoing follow-up of projects and contracts
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

The role also involves driving certain projects yourself based on operational needs.

About you

We are looking for you who have a solid background in project management and public contracting. You are a confident leader with good personal maturity and the ability to create trust in various contexts.
