Do you want to work in a beautiful natural environment in Norway and become part of a friendly and dedicated team? Krøderen Kro & Motell is now looking for a chef for the summer season 2026.

About the role

As a chef with us, you will be responsible for preparing both hot and cold dishes. You will be an active part of our daily restaurant operations, serving traditional Norwegian home-style cooking as well as classic dishes such as steak, burgers, schnitzel, and pan-fried trout. All food is prepared from scratch, with quality always in focus.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Preparation of hot and cold food
• À la carte service
• Catering production
• Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
• Other tasks naturally occurring in a restaurant kitchen

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience working as a chef
• Is self-motivated, responsible, and able to handle stress
• Thrives in a sometimes fast-paced work environment
• Is service-oriented and has good teamwork skills
• Has experience with or an interest in Nordic home-style cooking (preferred)
