HOTEL STATT is looking for you who loves hospitality, food and drink, and whose energy and joy are contagious!

We are looking for you who are brave, cheerful, structured, with a strong sense of hospitality and sales.

Your main task is to give our guests an experience beyond expectations.

The work involves a varied schedule with breakfast service, banquet hall, and service in our a la carte restaurant – starting immediately.

Responsibilities

• Serving food and drink in the a la carte restaurant, banquet orders, and conferences.
• Breakfast service.
• Offering the highest level of hospitality and competence to always ensure that guests are greeted with joy and playfulness.
• Always lead by example and be a role model for other colleagues.
• Be well-informed, up-to-date, and knowledgeable about the restaurant's offerings and industry trends.
• Work towards a sales culture within the department.
• Work actively and engaged to achieve your individual, departmental, and hotel goals.
• Be ready to help and assist other departments whenever possible.
• Actively participate in departmental and information meetings.

Who are you?

We expect you to carry out your work with warmth, enthusiasm, and joy. You are comfortable taking ownership of problems and have a "dare to ask" attitude. You have a passion for the profession, are curious and engaged, and tackle your tasks with joy. You are used to working quickly and flexibly and, as mentioned, always with the ambition to exceed the expectations of guests and colleagues.

• You have a strong guest focus, are receptive and solution-oriented, and combine quality thinking with diligence and engagement.
• You thrive in a high-paced environment, you dare to ask, and take initiative.
• You have good collaboration skills and value teamwork.
• You are a humble, status-free joy-spreader with a twinkle in your eye and a very "YES" attitude.
• You have good cash register skills.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing.
• You have several years of experience in serving, hospitality, and working in a bar.
• A strong interest in wine. It is an advantage if you are trained as a sommelier or bartender.

About Us

In the spring of 2017, the historic Stadshotellet changed owners, and thus we also changed shape from an old city hotel to the modern meeting facility Hotel Statt with an international and pulsating atmosphere. The entire hotel has been newly renovated by the new owners Karin and Kjell Jakobsson.

The hotel is owned by the company Room Republic, which also includes V Hotel (Hbg), Hotel Helsing (Hbg), and Hotel Feliz (Palma). We are part of Best Western, Sure Hotels Collection.
