Your new workplace

We are looking for a Personal Assistant to provide support and care.

How you contribute in the role of Personal Assistant

In this role, you will perform various tasks for this male client, who is mobility-impaired and uses a wheelchair.

You will assist with transfers and hygiene. You will drive his adapted car so he can participate in various activities. He communicates verbally. He also needs support with several assistive devices, such as a breathing machine (BiPAP), cough assist machine, Permobil wheelchair, and floor lift.

At night, there are alarm systems he uses when he needs help. You will learn to use these devices independently. Working hours consist of 24-hour shifts with on-call duties at the workplace. You work alone with the care recipient.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for a man with both life and work experience. As a person, you are meticulous, empathetic, attentive, and responsible. It is important that you can identify what needs to be done yourself, take initiative, and motivate the care recipient to participate in activities. You should be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

A valid Category B driver's license is required.

Experience with breathing machines and other equipment such as lifting and cough assist machines is meritorious. The employer considers it meritorious if you are a trained assistant nurse (undersköterska) or have equivalent healthcare education.

Good to know

Salary: Monthly/hourly salary. Individual and differentiated pay setting is applied.

Terms: Salary supplements beyond the monthly salary follow the applicable collective agreement. Central collective agreements can be found on the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions website, www.skr.se.

Collective Agreement: HÖK AB.
