Machine Operator at Trelleborgs Energi

Do you want to contribute to tomorrow's sustainable energy solutions? Trelleborgs Energi is now looking for a machine operator for the Energy & Technical Solutions business area. Here you will have a varied and practical role where you combine machine operation, transport, warehouse responsibility, and civil engineering work. You will become an important part of our operations and contribute to ensuring our projects are carried out efficiently, safely, and with high quality.

With us, you will work in an organization that contributes to a more sustainable future every day through fossil-free electricity, secure district heating, and smart energy solutions for our customers.

Trelleborgs Energi is a local and forward-looking energy company that delivers 100 percent fossil-free electricity, secure district heating, and one of Sweden's most reliable power grids. We also offer solar solutions, charging infrastructure, and smart energy services for private individuals and businesses.

We are proud of our corporate culture where openness, respect, and responsibility are natural parts of everyday life. For two years in a row, we have placed ourselves on the top list of Skåne's best workplaces according to Great Place to Work. With us, you have the opportunity to develop together with engaged colleagues while contributing to an important societal mission.

About the position:

As a machine operator, you will become part of a team of seven employees within Energy & Technical Solutions. Your starting point is our office at Skyttsgatan 16, and the work is primarily carried out within Trelleborg Municipality.

The role is varied and combines practical field work with responsibility for material handling and warehousing.

Your main tasks:

  • Drive a tractor with a loader wagon for the transport of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure efficient material flows within the operations.
  • Support the civil engineering team during construction and ground works.
  • Be responsible for the warehousing of electrical materials as well as stone and gravel materials.
  • Plan and conduct inventories and ensure current stock levels.
  • Receive, load, and unload materials.
  • Perform daily supervision, simple maintenance, and control of vehicles and tools.
  • Contribute to improvements in working methods and routines.
  • Ensure that work is carried out according to current safety requirements and quality routines.

The work involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues, contractors, and other internal functions.

On-call duties may be included in the position depending on operational needs.

We are looking for you who have:

  • Upper secondary education in construction and civil engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience driving a tractor with a loader wagon.
  • Good computer skills and experience with the Office package or similar systems.
  • Valid training in Work on the Road (APV 1.1–1.3 and APV 2.2, marking responsible).
  • B and C driver's licenses.

Meritorious:

  • Vocational certificate for excavator.
  • Documented experience in excavator work.
  • Experience in ground works in utility environments, for example within power grid operations.
  • Hot Work.
  • Safe Lifting (load coupler).
  • EBR Cable Laying.
  • ESA-E2 (non-electrical work).
  • ADR 1.3.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who thrive with practical and varied work where you get to take responsibility and plan your day. You are structured and meticulous while being flexible and unpretentious when the operation requires it.

You have a good safety mindset, work responsibly, and ensure that tasks are performed with high quality. Since the role involves many contact surfaces, it is important that you communicate clearly and contribute to good collaboration with both colleagues and external parties.

We also value that you are curious and want to develop both yourself and the operation. You see opportunities for improvements and are happy to share ideas that create value for the operation.

We offer:

  • A varied role with great personal responsibility.
  • An important societal mission within sustainable energy.
  • Opportunities for competence development and further education.
  • A workplace with engaged colleagues and strong team spirit.
  • A corporate culture ranked among Skåne's best workplaces.
