As a Technical Case Coordinator within overhead line maintenance and opto, you will have a responsible and varied role with overall responsibility for incoming cases regarding the maintenance of Svenska Kraftnät's overhead lines.

The cases handled often involve inquiries from external parties, such as other authorities, municipalities, grid owners, contractors, or property owners, frequently concerning crossings or construction near our power lines. The work involves, among other things, producing and interpreting technical information and drawings, compiling responses with applicable requirements and regulations, registration and case filing, as well as communication with both internal and external parties.

The position will also include:

• Receiving, registering, and handling incoming cases and inquiries.
• Handling inquiries from, for example, authorities, municipalities, grid owners, contractors, and property owners, often related to crossings or construction near our power lines.
• Interpreting drawings, maps, and technical information related to power lines.
• Compiling information for, for example, height measurements, crossings, pole types, and earthing arrangements.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of working methods and processes.
• Ongoing dialogue with colleagues to gather information and coordinate cases prior to statements and replies.
• Supporting maintenance engineers in various tasks.

As a Technical Case Coordinator, you will belong to the Overhead Lines and Opto unit. We are responsible for the operational maintenance of overhead lines and opto (the passive grid). The unit's operations are divided into three geographical areas for line maintenance and one for opto. The unit employs maintenance engineers and technical case coordinators.

About you

Requirements

We are looking for you who have technical understanding and experience in interpreting drawings and other technical information, as well as a good understanding of systems and structures. You express yourself well both orally and in writing and have the ability to communicate clearly with different target groups. As a person, you are structured and analytical, with a good ability to work systematically and solve problems. You are stable under pressure and thrive in a role where you collaborate with others and build good relationships, while also being able to work independently and drive your work forward.

Furthermore, you have a secondary school technical education or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska Kraftnät assesses as equivalent. You also have:

• Good technical knowledge of power lines.
• Documented good communication skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written.
• Work experience in case management with a technical character.
• Work experience in handling remits.
• Work experience in interpreting drawings, maps, and technical data.

Meritorious

• Category B driver's license.
• Work experience in a similar role with case management within transmission or regional grids is highly meritorious.
• Work experience in project work and habit of handling many different issues and cases simultaneously.
• Ability to handle IFS, W3D3, ArcGIS Pro, AGOL, ServiceNow.
• Work experience with earthing systems.
• Work experience with low- and medium-voltage grids.
• Work experience with step and touch voltage.
