ABOUT THE POSITION

At Rehabassistans, we are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant. Our client lives every other week in Härnösand and in Mörtsal. We offer a full-time position (100%) and hourly substitute work as needed. Working hours are scheduled from 07:00 to 20:00, and you will always work together with a colleague.

Start date is by agreement, and we would prefer if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a 4-year-old boy. He is very social and loves to be where the action is. He enjoys accompanying his siblings to activities such as handball and football, and he appreciates being outdoors in all weather. Additionally, he enjoys baking.

The boy has significant care needs and must never be left unsupervised. As an assistant, you will help him with all daily tasks.

The duties include:

• Accompanying and participating in activities
• Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and mobility
• Handling of assistive devices, including tube feeding via PEG, cough assist machine, home ventilator, and saturation monitoring

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver's license and access to a car
• No allergy to pets
• Non-smoker
• Comfortable with chlorine/capable of swimming

MERITS

• Experience working as a personal assistant
• Other healthcare experience
• Healthcare education or equivalent

Employment level: 1 full-time position (100%) and 1 hourly substitute position.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Rehabassistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you can present a valid ID document and/or submit a tax certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the tax certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will cover both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is recommended to order well in advance.
