The Department of Community Development is one of Mjölby Municipality's six departments, responsible for several central community functions. With approximately 450 employees, we work with the planning, development, and management of the municipality's infrastructure, buildings, parks, and outdoor environments. The department is also responsible for water and sewage operations, waste management, meal services, cleaning, and rescue services.

The Cleaning Unit within the Department of Community Development is responsible for keeping the municipality's buildings clean and pleasant. We handle daily cleaning and periodic maintenance, such as machine floor care, window cleaning, and deep cleaning, in about seventy buildings with a focus on schools and preschools.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily cleaning as well as periodic tasks, floor scrubbing with a scrubbing machine, and maintenance of cleaning/washing machines. Administrative work such as ordering materials may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have education in cleaning, such as SRY, PRYL, or other education that the employer considers equivalent, as well as at least 3 years of experience in cleaning work. We would also appreciate if you have experience with floor care and deep cleaning. Basic computer skills to use internal systems are meritorious.

You perform your duties in a professional manner and seek improvements in the work to contribute to a good working environment and high quality.

Important qualities that we value are good teamwork skills, customer focus, and a high sense of service. It is also crucial that you have good empathy and are good at building good relationships. You should find it easy to collaborate with both customers, management, and colleagues.
