ABOUT THE JOB

Subject to necessary decisions, Lycksele Municipality is seeking a School Counselor for the Central Child and Student Health Service.

The Child and Student Health Service is a cohesive operation and is part of the local student health team. As a counselor within the Child and Student Health Service, you can work within preschool, primary school, and upper secondary school in Lycksele Municipality. A common task within student health is to work promotively and preventively with early interventions through collaboration and efficient use of resources. You will work in close cooperation with the pedagogical activities at our schools.

The assignment will have a special focus on promotional and preventive interventions at the organizational and group levels. You will have good support in your work group together with other counselors. You will regularly participate in collaboration with Social Services regarding the promotional mission.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work. If you have experience working with children and young people, preferably within preschool/school, we consider it an asset. A category B driver's license and access to a private car are required for the assignment.
