Adapt creates, designs, and produces events and exhibitions. From idea and design to technology, logistics, and execution. With in-house production capabilities in lighting, sound, visuals, and 3D design, Adapt delivers sustainable, lasting, and innovative experiences to its customers.
SENIOR TECHNICAL PRODUCTION MANAGER - ADAPT EVENT & EXPO AB, STOCKHOLM
Behind every fantastic event is an even better Senior Technical Production Manager.
Adapt doesn't just build events. They build exhibitions, congresses, meetings, hybrid productions, and experiences that inspire people, help them learn new things, build relationships, and do business.
Sometimes it involves a smaller meeting for a few hundred people. Other times, it's international congresses with several thousand participants from around the world. And almost always, it's about transforming an empty venue into something that only existed as a 3D visualization a few days prior.
Adapt now needs to strengthen its team in Stockholm with a Senior Technical Production Manager who wants to plan, lead, and execute their productions.
Who are we looking for?
You enjoy when technology, people, and logistics collaborate to create something truly great. You are equally comfortable working in front of a blueprint or production schedule as you are on the floor with the technicians when the production is being built. You know that a successful event rarely comes down to luck. It's about planning, experience, communication, and a team working towards the same goal - a sleek, secure, and flawless execution.
To succeed in this role, you need several years of professional experience working with sound, lighting, visual, and scent technology. You have likely worked as a technician yourself for many years and now feel confident leading larger technical productions, teams, and deliveries.
You have a good technical understanding, are structured, and enjoy planning. At the same time, you are confident enough to make decisions when reality doesn't follow the plan - because it sometimes doesn't.
Responsibilities:
You are the person who takes over when a project starts to become reality. Together with project managers, you plan how ideas, concepts, and 3D visualizations should be transformed into functional technical solutions in the real world. You are responsible for technology, resources, logistics, and execution. You lead technicians, coordinate suppliers, ensure the schedule is met, and ensure the client feels secure throughout the production. You ensure that the right technology, people, and resources are in the right place at the right time, and when the doors open, everything should just work.
Working at Adapt:
Your workplace is primarily in Stockholm and at Stockholm International Fairs, where Adapt is the in-house partner. However, if you want to develop and challenge yourself outside the capital, there are plenty of opportunities. Approximately 50 percent of Adapt's projects are executed internationally, meaning you may have the opportunity to work on productions both around Sweden and in other parts of the world. As the in-house partner to Stockholm International Fairs, Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers, and Fotografiska, Adapt is part of some of the most important meeting places in the Nordics. Every year, they execute hundreds of projects - from smaller corporate meetings to some of Europe's largest congresses, exhibitions, and events.
Employees at Adapt plan when, where, and how they work themselves - freedom with responsibility, taking into account each other and the projects. Adapt works according to the values "simple", "innovative", and "kind" - which permeate everything they do.
Adapt is one of Sweden's largest and fastest-growing production companies - where over 50% of projects are international and where employees enjoy working together. Here you get fantastic colleagues with high competence and great commitment, as well as opportunities to develop both nationally and internationally. Here you work in a culture characterized by collaboration, lack of hierarchy, and humor, with the opportunity to influence both your projects and the company's future development.
Application:
The position is a full-time role and is to be filled as soon as possible. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application period ends - send your application today.
