We are now looking for two maintenance mechanics for our sawmill in Teurajärvi.

Jutos is a stable employer with approx. 55 employees and a business that is continuously developing.

Our main focus is the production of sawn and planed wood products as well as by-products. In addition, we have a forestry operation to supply raw materials to our own business. We export the majority of the sawn wood products. The United Kingdom is the single largest market, followed by the rest of Europe, Scandinavia, North Africa, the Middle East, and Japan.

As a maintenance mechanic, you will have varied tasks within maintenance, such as preventive maintenance and repairs at our facility. The maintenance work is carried out in close cooperation with operations with a strong focus on high availability.

You are part of a maintenance team consisting of mechanics, welders, and electricians, led by our production manager. You work with ongoing improvement maintenance, troubleshooting and measures for direct problems, as well as installations during reconstructions and new constructions.

We place great importance on your personal qualities; that you have a high safety focus, are service-oriented, and understand the importance of good communication. You have the ability to solve problems and to carry out systematic improvement work with the aim of increasing quality and efficiency at the facility. You take initiative and are at the same time a good team player. This is very important as you will drive maintenance measures with the help of internal and external contacts. You have a great interest in technology and mechanics.

We are looking for you who work as a mechanic today or are about to enter the working life after completing your education.

Since safety at the workplace and communication with your colleagues is very important, you must be able to speak and understand Swedish.

We are looking for you who have:

• At least upper secondary education, e.g., focus on industry, technology, mechanics, or trucks/mobile machinery (workshop, electrical technology, or basic technology) or equivalent work experience.
• Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics/pneumatic technology.
• Substantial interest in technology.
• Positive outlook.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• Category B driver's license.

As a person, you are:

• Responsible.
• Detail-oriented.
• And have a positive outlook.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience of maintenance work from the process industry.
• Experience of mechanical maintenance, knowledge of reading drawings, and within the electrical field.

We believe in wood as the single most important building block for tomorrow's society. It is 100% renewable, has a long lifespan, and adds no new carbon dioxide. At Jutos, we utilize the whole log, approx. half becomes sawn wood products and the rest by-products, for example, chips that mainly go to the pulp industry. Other by-products become bioenergy that goes to heating homes and to our own production.

While other sawmills have closed down or centralized their operations, Jutos has gone against the current and strengthened its presence in the interior of Norrbotten. At our two facilities, we take care of the region's unique raw material, and let the world partake of it. Now we will continue to develop our production and broaden our market, for tomorrow's sustainable societies are built in wood.
