Östrand & Hansen has a high demand for its complex sheet metal forming progressive dies from several industries. We are now recruiting an experienced CNC operator who, independently and as part of a team, is responsible for programming, processing, and completing our customers' requirements, as well as components for our automation and special machines.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of CNC operator, you work daily with low-volume components in various materials. Based on order-specific drawings, you plan your work and ensure that the work meets the quality requirements set.

Below are the main responsibilities for the role:

• Set up and program NC-controlled machines, both milling and turning.
• Process components in different materials, e.g., steel, aluminum, and brass.
• Quality inspection and control of finished components.
• Participate in and propose improvement measures for the department.

Your Profile

• You have many years of experience in machining low-volume components on NC-controlled machines where you have independently programmed and quality assured your jobs.
• You have knowledge and experience in CAM programming.
• We believe you have a genuine interest in technology, enjoy solving problems, and have the drive and willingness to understand and absorb new knowledge.
• You are responsible, meticulous, and quality-conscious.
• You are curious, engaged, cooperative, and contribute positive energy to the group.
• We want you to have good IT understanding and experience from a larger business system.
• You, as a candidate, have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Merits

• Experience working in EdgeCam.
• Experience in Turning.
• Overhead crane and forklift licenses.

In our machine park, you will find the following machines: DMG Mori DMU75, Okuma Multus B300W, Okuma MA60, and an Okuma Genos.

The work is scheduled during daytime hours, and the location for the role is at the factory in Bankeryd.
