Do you want to be part of something bigger and contribute to sustainable development in Norrbotten, both within our county and towards the outside world?
At the Unit for Municipal Planning and Cultural Heritage, 25 employees work today. You will, in close collaboration with our other cultural heritage conservationists, be responsible for Norrbotten's cultural environments, ancient monuments, and cultural landscapes based on current legislation as well as national and regional goals and strategies. You will work cross-sectorally on various societal issues with other subject areas within the agency.
About the job
We are looking for you who want to work as a County Antiquarian and who have good experience of working with ancient monuments, archaeological investigations, building antiquarian issues, and cultural environments.
As a County Antiquarian, you support the Unit Manager in the development of the County Administrative Board's work within the cultural heritage area. You also lead the cultural heritage group's work in various issues regarding balancing in cases in consultation with the unit manager. The assignment includes representing cultural heritage issues in the county, both regionally and nationally. The ability to work strategically and cross-sectorally is of great importance when it comes to driving and developing cultural heritage work. Some case handling tasks may be included in the work.

The County Administrative Board's role is largely of a collaborative nature, and therefore it is required that you have experience of working with and the ability to engage and stimulate both employees and various collaboration actors. Furthermore, you are a good communicator and have an easy time expressing yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. You should have good cooperation and initiative skills, be clear and good at prioritizing, and have a structured working method that leads to results within given timeframes.

We use a six-month probationary period.
If you are called for an interview, you may be asked to complete a work test.
Since some jobs with us require security clearance, you may be asked to undergo a security clearance before employment. This includes a security clearance interview and register check. Swedish citizenship is required for some jobs.
