About the Position

Hyttan & Viken both have 9 places where Novelia conducts investigations, care, and treatment for girls aged 13–17 who exhibit attachment issues, neuropsychiatric behavioral problems, self-destructive behavior, social behavioral and interaction deficits, have stayed in unsuitable environments, have committed occasional crimes, have experimented with drugs, display threatening behavior, and end up in conflict with other people. The girls may have significant school absenteeism and also have difficulties with social interaction and deficits in social skills.

The organization's approach strives to create a safe, pleasant, and predictable environment for the admitted youths in the HVB home. The milieu therapeutic work focuses on involving the youths and making them participants in creating functional routines in their daily lives and treatment. We tailor the treatment as much as possible and have access to qualified specialist competence within the social and psychiatric fields.

We are now looking for a nurse on an hourly or consulting basis who can work continuously for a few hours a week/up to one day a week, as well as on an as-needed basis. Working hours are relatively flexible according to preferences.

Your main responsibilities:

• Overall healthcare (HSL) interventions for clients, e.g., medication distribution, wound dressings, etc.
• Responsibility for medications, delegation, dosing, medication lists, updating medication lists, signing lists, generic medications, ordering medications.
• Ongoing administration, record keeping/review, and incident management.
• Collaboration and cooperation with staff, external healthcare contacts, and management.
• Supervisory responsibility in the form of delegations, review of incidents, and shorter training sessions for staff.
• Continuously develop the operations in accordance with Novelia's healthcare organization and goals.
• Other: Checks of medical equipment, ordering materials, pharmacy checks.

Qualifications

In this role, you need to share Novelia's view of conducting operations with a common culture, values, goals, and vision. As a person, you have a coaching and supportive approach towards clients and colleagues. You have no problem communicating and collaborating with different contact points within the company.

To be considered for this role, you need to have basic knowledge of laws, regulations, guidelines, and rules that apply to the operations, e.g., Social Services Act (SOL), Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU), and Health and Medical Services Act (HSL).

You are educated and licensed as a nurse. You preferably have 2 years of experience in similar healthcare assignments in housing facilities that receive children and young people.

Collective Agreement, Benefits & Compensation

All companies in the Novelia group are members of Almega/Healthcare Employers and have a collective agreement according to Sector E. For this role, the collective agreement between Almega/Healthcare Employers and the Swedish Nurses' Union applies.

Novelia offers a wellness allowance of 3,000 SEK per worked full year.

Salary setting is differentiated and individual according to agreement.
