We are looking for a skilled MIG/MAG welder for an assignment in Varberg via Lernia. In this role, you will work in a production environment where precision, quality, and effective collaboration with colleagues are crucial. This assignment is suitable for you if you have experience with MIG/MAG welding and want to contribute to an engaged production team.

About the role

You will be responsible for welding components and details in steel and other metals according to drawings and work specifications. Tasks include preparing materials, setting up equipment, performing welding operations, as well as inspecting and finishing welds. The work requires attention to detail and the ability to follow safety procedures and quality requirements.

Working hours: Daytime. Location: Varberg. Start date: According to agreement.

Responsibilities

• MIG/MAG welding according to drawings and work orders
• Preparation such as grinding, cleaning, and fixture assembly
• Inspection and documentation of welds to ensure quality
• Post-processing and surface treatment as needed
• Collaboration with the production team to meet delivery goals
• Following company safety and environmental procedures

About you

You are a practical person who works in a structured and quality-conscious manner. You thrive in team settings and take responsibility for delivering according to schedule. Flexibility and a willingness to learn new methods and techniques are important.

Formal qualifications

• Documented experience with MIG/MAG welding
• Good ability to read drawings and welding procedures
• Knowledge of welding materials, filler materials, and settings
• Good understanding of safety procedures in welding
• Swedish language skills (spoken and written)

Merits

• Welding certificate or formal training in welding
• Experience welding stainless steel or aluminum
• Experience with TIG welding
• Knowledge of quality control and welding inspection
• Forklift license or other relevant machine certificates
