Job Responsibilities

As a cleaning staff member, you are responsible for keeping our operational premises clean and hygienic. Through good customer service, you contribute to a positive atmosphere in our operations.

We are currently looking for hourly paid cleaning staff for the staffing unit Internal Service, Preschool and Primary School. As an hourly employee, you will work in a varied manner since the needs may differ across our operations. You will interact with our students and staff within the facilities. Therefore, it is important that you are service-oriented and have a welcoming attitude. The role requires flexibility and the ability to adapt your working methods to different job descriptions and cleaning schedules. We offer you meaningful and varied work with opportunities for professional development, where you contribute to keeping our premises clean and hygienic.

Being an hourly employee means:

• You work at several different preschools and schools within the City of Gothenburg
• You replace permanent staff during short-term absences
• You enter your available hours in our booking system, Time Care Pool, and are scheduled when units have a need
• Your working hours may be scheduled between 06:00–15:30, Monday to Friday

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education and/or a vocational certificate according to SRY, PRYL, CLV+ or equivalent. It is also meritorious if you have previous experience with various cleaning machines, sustainable cleaning practices, and chemical handling.

As a cleaning staff member, you are the face of our internal service operations. Therefore, we are looking for you who are service-oriented and have good customer service skills. At our company, you work according to different job descriptions and cleaning schedules. This requires good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You pick up instructions easily and can work independently. You are thorough in your work and take responsibility for ensuring the job is done properly. You value building good relationships with both colleagues and customers. The position requires that you are flexible and able to step in with short notice.
