Welder

Jitech's staff is known for having exceptionally high competence in welding, sheet metal work, and grinding processes. We have welding specialists with IWS competence, and we are certified according to ISO 3834 as well as for pressure equipment. We are now looking for more welders for our welding departments.

Main Responsibilities:

Independently perform welding and grinding work in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The welding processes we use are MIG, MAG, TIG, MMA, soldering, spot welding, and induction welding.

Welding in ongoing production, prototype manufacturing, and fixture manufacturing.

Competence Requirements:

You should primarily be skilled in MAG welding on materials that are 1.5–20 mm thick. You work independently, are meticulous, and easy to collaborate with. We manufacture in short series upon customer request, which means that very good knowledge of reading drawings and measurement techniques is a crucial prerequisite, as well as the ability to read and understand Swedish. The welders we are looking for must achieve a quality level according to ISO 5817 class B and be approved according to the company's internal welding test in accordance with ISO 9606–1 or ISO 9606-2.

General:

Suitable educational background is workshop or industrial technology education with a focus on sheet metal and welding, or equivalent.

Overhead crane license and certificates from welding tests are meritorious.

Test welding is used as part of the selection process.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a probationary period. Start immediately, or as agreed.
