Do you want to combine practical installation work with modern IT, advanced technology, and varied assignments across Sweden?

We are now looking for a technician with an interest in IT, networks, and technical systems for a long-term assignment within the defense sector. You will be employed as a consultant at MW Field Services and work in close collaboration with a leading supplier of defense and security technology as well as the Swedish Armed Forces.

You will become part of our traveling team with Gothenburg as the base. Together, you will work with the installation, integration, and commissioning of some of Sweden's most advanced communication and command systems at various locations around the country. Here you will have a role that combines technical work, team spirit, and the opportunity to contribute to operations that strengthen Sweden's security and defense capabilities.

About the Role

In the role of technician, you work closely with the end customer on the installation, integration, and commissioning of advanced technology in vehicles, command centers, and other technical platforms.

You are part of a traveling team where assignments are carried out at different locations in Sweden with Gothenburg as the starting point. The work is done in close collaboration with colleagues, technicians, system engineers, and customer representatives.

The tasks include, among other things:

• Cable pulling and installation of technical equipment
• Assembly of communication and network equipment
• Commissioning and configuration of systems
• Troubleshooting and verification of installations
• Documentation of completed work
• Collaboration with technicians, system engineers, and customer representatives

The work is varied and combines practical craftsmanship with modern IT technology. Travel is a natural part of the job and suits you if you appreciate variety and thrive working in different environments.

Requirements

• Category B driver's license
• Experience as a technician, installer, electrician, service technician, or another equivalent technical role
• Documented experience of IT, networks, or computers through work, education, or certification
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Cleared background check

Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces is considered an advantage.
