One of our rock truck drivers has moved on to new challenges, and we are now looking for you to step into this role.

About the Role

The rock truck (or tip truck) has a total weight of approximately 100 tons. Curious about what kind of vehicle this is? Search for "Cat 775G" to learn more.

As a rock truck driver, you are responsible for operating and handling the rock truck in connection with the transport of rock material within the work area. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other machine operators and site management to ensure an efficient and safe production flow.

Before and after driving, you will perform basic maintenance and inspections, such as checking fluid levels, filters, and equipment functionality.

The work is scheduled Monday to Friday on a two-shift system.

Your Qualifications

• Valid B-driver's license
• Self-motivated and structured

Experience in similar tasks and a wheel loader license are considered meritorious.

Conditions

A 6-month probation period applies.

About Schweden Splitt AB

Schweden Splitt AB is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Basalt Actien Gesellschaft (BAG) in Germany. In Sweden, we operate a rock quarry in Elleholm, beautifully located on the Baltic Sea coast in Karlshamn Municipality. Our facility can currently produce up to one million tons per year, and we have approximately 25 employees on site.

Products are sold locally with truck delivery, but the majority of production is shipped abroad and delivered by vessels loaded at the company's own port adjacent to the quarry. The company is Sweden's largest exporter of rock crushing products for construction purposes, with customers ranging from Estonia in the north to Denmark in the west.
