The schools in Nybro Municipality aim to give every child and student the best conditions for success. Substitute Teacher for the National Glass School, Pukeberg

We at Nybro Adult Education are looking for a substitute colleague for the National Glass School in Pukeberg for the upcoming autumn.

Nybro Adult Education has approximately 450 students enrolled in the courses we offer. We provide distance education at basic and upper secondary levels via NTI, SFI, and Komvux. Through Yrkesvux, we offer healthcare and care training, glass craftsmanship and design, as well as heavy and passenger transport. The National Glass School is also part of our operations, where we offer design and stained glass education within the framework of higher vocational education.

At the adult education center, we are approximately 25 employees with various competencies. Our main task is to ensure that our students have the best possible educational journey. We work closely together, and good collaboration skills are essential. We have premises at Långgatan 13 in Nybro, where we have our administration, learning center, and most of our courses. We also have premises in Pukeberg and on Kraftvägen 2.

The work team at the National Glass School consists of five employees who together teach approximately 40 students.

Job Responsibilities

The responsibilities are directly linked to the manual instruction in glass blowing. As part of the work team at the National Glass School, you will, together with experienced staff, teach and assist students in manual glass craftsmanship.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience with glass blowing as well as practical knowledge of equipment within the glass industry. It is an advantage if you also have competence in finishing work in a grinding workshop.

You should have good pedagogical skills, be responsible, enjoy challenges, respect students' differences, have the ability to see opportunities, and have good collaboration skills.

Since we are an international school, the instruction is partly conducted in English.
