Båtsmansgärdet is a warm and welcoming somatic care and housing facility located in central Kungälv. Here we offer secure care in approximately 50 apartments.

We currently have exciting opportunities for you who are a nursing assistant and want to make a difference – every day. We are looking for new stars to join our team who want to work day/evening shifts!

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant at Båtsmansgärdet, you are a key person in our residents' lives. You work based on the national values for elderly care, where self-determination, security, and meaningfulness are central.

You will:

• Strengthen the resident's abilities and resources.
• Assist with personal care, cleaning, and laundry.
• Support during meals and social activities.
• Document interventions and follow up on needs.
• Perform health and medical care tasks delegated by the nurse.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other professions in the team.

Qualifications

Are you the one we are looking for?

• We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and have a protected title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or alternatively a certificate of service indicating the title "nursing assistant" and permanent employment (from 2023-07-01).
• You should have good teamwork skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• It is important that you are interested in people, have a great commitment, see opportunities, have a sense of responsibility, and focus on the individual needs of the users.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, as well as good computer skills, are required.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience within healthcare.
