We are now looking for an engaged technician specializing in disinfection and large kitchen equipment for Property Services East, based in Karlskrona.

Region Blekinge manages approximately 290,000 square meters of premises. Property Services East is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and development of buildings in the eastern part of the county. Our mission is to ensure safe, functional, and efficient environments for healthcare operations.

About the Job

As a technician with us, you will have a varied and responsible role where you contribute to ensuring that critical equipment operates safely and reliably. You will work with service, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of, among other things, dishwashers/disinfectors and other disinfection equipment within healthcare. The role also includes work with large kitchen equipment.

The work is performed both independently and in collaboration with colleagues, suppliers, and operational representatives. You will also contribute to the development of routines and working methods for supervision, operation, and maintenance within your area of responsibility.

About You

You have technical education in areas such as electricity, electronics, automation, mechatronics, or equivalent. You also have experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing disinfection equipment, large kitchen equipment, or similar technical systems.

You are accustomed to working from technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and documentation, and can translate this information into practical work.

You are computer literate and document your work in a structured manner.

You thrive in a service-oriented role and build good relationships with customers and suppliers.

As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and curious about technological development. You have the ability to plan and prioritize your work, while being flexible and able to handle several different tasks in parallel.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

A category B driver's license is required.

On-call duty may occur.

Other Information

On-call duty may be included in the position.

Region Blekinge assigns all permanent staff to wartime duties. Some positions may be security-classified, meaning security checks and register controls are conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

Here, resources are consolidated for regional properties, property technology, cleaning, logistics, meal services, central warehouse, and customer service.
